University of North Florida
The School of Music at the University of North Florida recently purchased two Yamaha U1 TransAcoustic upright pianos to help support its latest undergraduate degree program in Music Technology and Production. In addition to the standard course of study, these students learn about sound design, mixing, composition, arranging and recording.
Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI)
The Boston University Tanglewood Institute (BUTI) is recognized internationally as one of the premier summer training programs for aspiring high school-age musicians and is the only program of its kind associated with one of the world’s great symphony orchestras, the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO).Shown in the photo above, students from BUTI’s Young Artists Piano Program are participating in a piano master class with Frederic Chiu, supported by Disklavier technology.
